One summer afternoon, after a thunderstorm ...

inch by inch
an earthworm measuring
my garage door

Fine observation and an important motive: seeing the great things in small things.
I wish this worm survived and gave an idea about dimensions. Everything is relative.
I see a metaphor for this abstract of time and space.

Very interesting! I like it very much!

Best wishes
Rudi

Whenever there is time to do it, I stop and carry them to a better place. A few days ago I saw our children (14 and 8) do the same. I was so proud.

Best wishes

Thanks for visiting and following Bleeding Moon Poetry. I must tell you that this is one classy little haiku... i can actually see that worm inching its way along. Brilliantly written about such a simple everyday occurrence.
