Definitely a thing that happens, Carlos. How we replace one mystery with another over and over. What hunger?
I like it! :)
i bow to your Godwith or without a haloi am a blind man ..
Sandy,I suppose with all the issues we have in life we'd want to take advantage of every opportunity to get what we need or want.Best wishes.
Henrique--exactly! If it works, why not? If it doesn't, we try another one!bwst wishes.
This is true, but the beauty of the haloed moon is so powerful.
The image of the haloed moon is lovely and powerful.
zoya gautam--great insight! As someone once said: "What is essential is invisible to the eye."All the best.
Robin--I think so, too. Being the closest heavenly body, the haloed moon is so compelling. We implore it for a good harvest and a good hunt... and all sorts of favors. Must be the "hunger" that Sandy mentioned earlier...Best wishes.
Cassiopeia--Yes, and as we all know, it has been so for centuries. And it has influenced a lot of both our supertitious and science-based beliefs and behaviour...Thanks for your comments.
I hope it works for her. I haven't done so well with it myself.
Loved the concept of 'haloed moon'...well said!
A haloed moon is another of those sights that turns my body into prayer!
Stunning. Provocative and profound! I love this.
What a stunning haiku. Lovely imagery.
Mojo--different folks, different strokes... :)Regards.
Sister Julia--Indeed, there are a lot of reasons to be in awe of Nature and to be prayerful.Regards.
The Write Girl--thanks!
a very nice haiku!i was wondering if haikus are for nature only? my kid told me, haikus are about nature...:)
When she prays, what does she pray for? I think sometimes we pray to materialize, money and such rather than to those that can help the spirit.
Amity--I also write about man or human nature because I think man is part of Nature. There are so many "haiku guidelines" that you really have to pick and choose what techniques suit your purpose best at the time you're writing.
