Hi Mita--The scandal, unfortunately, has something to do with the Catholic Church. Its head, the Pope, resides in the Vatican in Rome. The scandal refers to the mishandling by church authorities of cases of priests who had sexually abused young children in the past. Such cases have been reported in the U.S., Ireland, and Germany.
