Carlos, this has got to be one of my favorites of all time. Great work!

What a challenge. Being forced to shrink life to a single wish. As much worth as every single breath.

Hi Robert.

As you know, life reminds us periodically that we can't have everything--which means, at different times, we have to make tough choices. And we need to be ready to make that one single "wish" that life and time allow us.

Best regards. Have a good weekend.

But for an eternal self-realization...

I am thinking of all of us who can't wish fast enough.

"I wish to wish the wish you wish,
And like the like you like
I wish to hope the hope you hope
And love the love you love"

I forgot the next lines...:)

very good haiku Carlos!

Really, really good! I write more traditional 5/7/5 haikus but I appreciate this form as well.

Thanks, Geraldine. You're more patient and disciplined than I am.

A while back, I decided "3-5-3" suited me more. Then recently I thought I'll simply be guided by "short-long-short".

Good wishes.
