This would give me great joy, if I could see the scene in real,

I can see it through your words, though, Carlos -- Nice haiku :)

I have done that many times with my family, when I lived in the midwest. Thanks for bringing back pleasant memories.

Great juxtaposition! The green nothern light fits well to the light of fireflies and both are archaic phenomenons. So age is no object, wether grandfather or grandkid chase fireflies. These animals and the northern light are objects out of time.

I do hope I could write in my very best bad English.

Best wishes
Rudi

Devila -- Our old eyes marvel at the magical lights. The kids, the fireflies. They see something else we used to see and have forgotten.

Best wishes.
